I really like the All American trend. The American Dream Girl is athletic, optimistic, always happy, smiling, looks casually beautiful and has a noncholant attitude. She would rather opt for jeans and a T than glam sexy dresses, but this doesn't mean she doesn't like to dress up. Stars and stripes, lots of denim, college sweatshirts, cheerleading uniforms; you can go anywhere with this trend.

Perhaps the girl who mixes and matches this trend the best is Marina Diamandis (better known as Marina and the diamonds). She wears golden cheerleading pieces on stage, denim cut-offs and denim shirts, stars and stripes sequin dresses and borrowed from the boys football jackets.
